Last day of Mothers Day Out

Wednesday was the boy's last day of Mothers Day Out. It has been a lifesaver for me and I'm going to miss it during the summer.

Ms. Cindy was their teacher and she is a special lady. She made them all visors with their name on it, special scrapbooks for each of the boys, pails with their names on it with shovels, and gave them all books for the summer.

We will miss Ms. Cindy, but we will see her again in the Fall, although we will move up to the toddler room, but we can always stop in and say Hi.

**Ms. Cindy made these shirts herself!!

Pics from our last photo session

I realized that I haven't posted some of our pictures from the great Jackie Reitz (http://www.jacquelinereitzphotography.com/#).
Although the boys didn't look like they were having a good time, Jackie was able to capture some great shots.

One just for fun

Yesterday Lauren had two softball games to play. She is doing so well in her first year playing softball. At the third game of the season she recd the award of "MVP".
I think softball is "her" sport. She has played shortstop, 2nd base, and third base. She threw two girls out from 3rd base - this girl has an arm on her. She also fielded the ball and forced outs at 3rd base. I NEED to get pictures of her playing - it's hard when I'm tending to the boys but I will before the season is out.
In addition to two softball games, we managed to make it to my friend's, Karola, house for a celebration bbq. Can you guess what I'm doing today??

The boys are close to 11 months old now and I'm almost done planning their 1st birthday party and a special surprise for everyone (blog followers included). It's been a great year, sometimes a little rough, but I wouldn't have changed it for the world. We are so blessed!

For now,

Mother's Day

Of course this post is late, did you expect anything different??

I had the most wonderful Mother's Day. I was able to sleep in until 8:45 a.m.!!!! Although I was up with all three of the boys in the night, sleeping in was exactly what I needed.
I woke up with a young lady snuggling up to me and in the background the noise of three little boys playing in the living room.

I was presented with three lovely cards. One of them being homemade from Ms. L, with some "coupons" that I can use over and over. Watch out little one, I will take advantage of that. I have one for a car wash, manicure and pedicure, a free day, and breakfast in bed.

After waking up and trying to figure out what the heck was going on at 9:00 a.m., I made a dessert for Mother's Day brunch/lunch at my mother in laws house. Banana pudding was the winning recipe for the day. We then went to my MIL's house where Aunt Jess was along with Nana. After we were there for a few minutes, Ms. Ava and her parents strolled in. She came in with a cute skirt/shirt outfit AND a purse and she was carrying it the right way; with her arm bent in front of her. She is quite the young lady.

We all tore up some ham, corn casserole, veggies and of course the banana pudding. The boys were included in that prior statement. They ate and ate and ate some more. It is so cute to watch them eat.

Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.
