We had the boy's pictures done late December. I posted my favorite at the top of the blogger page.

Rolling, rolling, rolling
Boy do I have some boys trying to wrangle up some doggies!! They are rolling over from front to back and back to front, with the exception of Ian. Ian is able to go from his back to front and then he gets angry because he's on his belly.
I caught Logan rolling over on his brother, Travis, today. I would put him on his back and he would roll over again, and we played that game for a few minutes until Travis got upset.
These boys are a crack up. They are such happy boys. Their faces light up when Daddy walks into a room. If Daddy doesn't pay them enough attention then they start to fuss. Logan and Travis are Daddy's boys. We hear them in their bedroom saying "dadadadada".
It's only a matter of time before we are crawling.....heaven help us then!!

Student of the Month
Lauren came home last Friday with her report card. In the summary of the report, the teacher said that Lauren is doing very well and that she is proud that Lauren made Student of the Month for December. Later that night, I recd a call from Mrs. Gooding, the principal, advising me that Lauren would be honored at the PTA meeting on Tuesday (should I remind you that is the only way I attend PTA meetings here....they are soooo boring!!)
Well, the PTA meeting was canceled since school was called off on Tuesday because of the highly anticipated ice storm that was going to hit Dallas. She was off school on Wednesday as well. Mothers Day Out was closed on Wednesday and I was DENIED my shopping/errands for the week.
So, whenever we make it to the PTA meeting for her presentation of her award, I'll be sure to post some pics or even a small video.

Happy 2009
As usual, it's taken me a few more days than I promised to update. I'm going to stop apologizing for this - you'll just have to deal with it from now on ;-)
I sure hope everyone had a great holiday season. I know we did. The boys are too little to understand Santa Claus but they (WE) still had a blast. We have a stack of toys that we haven't even opened yet. Papa Johnson sent money so we need to go shopping soon. Lauren got some great gifts this year. We were trying to stay away from all the little girl toys and move more towards the pre-teen items. The best thing she got, in her opinion, is what she recd after Christmas. Mike's mom was getting rid of one of her desktop computers and offered it to Lauren. The computer that we have in the front of the house is "technically" Lauren's but she had to share it with me since our other one died about two years ago. So, we put Lauren's "new" computer in her playroom and went to Ikea and picked up a new computer desk, chair, and desk lamp for her. Best gift ever!! I guess I can return the Wii Fit, but then again Santa brought that!
I finally have added some more pictures to the Picasa account (again the link is to the right of the page).
The boys are now 6 months old. Can you believe it?? I can't. I saw a picture of them when we first brought them home and they were so small. I never thought they would get this big, but they are. Ian weighs approximately 19 lbs and I'm not sure how much Logan and Travis weigh. We have their 6-month check up on the 15 of January so we will know then. They are doing so great. We are now eating solids/babyfood 3 x a day. I got a food processor for Christmas so I'm making some of their baby food, but still need a stocked pantry for the boys since I don't have a lot of time to make theirs, but I'm doing as much as I can. I don't plan on them being on pureed food for too long, by 8 months they should be able to eat most of what we are eating with some exceptions.
Our friend from Germany will be here from Feb 2 - 17th. Her name is Angela and she was our babysitter when we lived there. She came to visit us in August of 2002 for 5 weeks. This time she will be here for 2 weeks and then she is off to other parts of the country. She is now 22 years old and has been accepted into college to be a midwife. We are excited to see her again.
We've taken down the Christmas stuff in the house today. We didn't have the energy to put up any of our lights outside this year, so the clean up was quite easy this year. I think I might have to buy some more gates for next year...I don't think 4 sets of gates is enough (you would think so - but with three it seems nothing is never enough!)
OHHHH - I forgot - TEETH. Boy do we have teeth. Ian has three teeth (two on the bottom and one on the top). Both Travis and Logan have two teeth on the bottom. I kept forgetting to post this info.
Alright - it's time to make bottles for tomorrow. I must go for now. Lauren's birthday is coming up next month - so look out for where we are going to have her birthday. I said last year was the last year we were going to go somewhere with all her friends, but I think we might go ice skating this year.
